"I've never tutored professionally but feel qualified to handle the task. I've always been involved with children's extracurricular activities having been a Girl Scout leader for 14 years and a girls' lacrosse club coach. I am currently a girls' lacrosse official.
My favorite subjects in school were English and Social Studies. I was always a good speller and avid reader. One of my English classes was a Vocabulary class, and I enjoyed learning about new words and their definitions and spellings.
I was in advanced placement English in high school and some of my classes related to vocabulary.
Handwriting and spelling are important to me and I am capable of instructing these courses.
I am a lacrosse official who can teach the rules and basic skills such as catching, scooping and passing. I know "secrets" that can help goalies and field players prosper on the field.
I'm interested in getting into the teaching field on a part-time basis and believe that tutoring is the perfect venue. I have a paralegal certification, B.A. in Sociology, MBA in HR Management, and am a licensed realtor. I have a PHR certification. During my quests for certifications and studying for my realtor's license, I passed them all on the first attempt. I'm excited to work with you in reaching your goals." less...
