"Hi! I'm Jess, and I have been tutoring students since 2011 in math, science, and test prep. I graduated from the California Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I began winning state math awards in middle school and have loved math and science from a young age. I'm excited to help you learn!

I teach math subjects from Algebra I to BC Calculus and have extensive experience with the ACT and SAT. I prefer to teach using examples, breaking problems down into their basic components to help the student recognize patterns and build confidence in their own skills. I will walk students through tricky problems and have them work through similar examples to ensure their understanding of the material. I believe practice and becoming familiar with all types of problems are key in conquering most math subjects and test prep.
