I graduated cum laude from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Cognitive Science, a degree path which instilled strong writing, research, and analytical skills. English and History were my favorite subjects growing up, and I was consistently a top performer in those courses, receiving a near-perfect score on the ACT English exam and perfect scores on the ACT Reading/Writing and A.P. U.S./European History exams.

I’ve always been passionate about teaching and helping other students succeed, even as a kid, when I would help my friends and younger brother with their English, History, and writing assignments. Since then, I’ve worked with students of all ages, including being an ELA tutor for elementary school students, editing and proofreading countless essays and reports, and working as a peer educator and instructional assistant during college.
