"Bonjour, J'ai m'appelle Gile. I graduated with a bachelor degree in Global Studies and a minor in Philosophy. I feel blessed to say that I have gained the leadership and tutoring experiences needed from prestigious programs such as Posse Foundation Program (PFP) and Bezos Scholars Program (BSP). Not only does PFP and BSP prepared me to be an effectivities tutor, but also their education and their extensive development trainings encouraged my problem-solving skills. Despite my educational and professional accomplishments, I must continue to grow in order to make tutoring sessions more enjoyable. My overall tutoring strategy is to help students think for themselves first, then developing their curiosity to learn.

I am not merely a tutor, but also a competitive scholar that embraces challenges. In 2015, I was one of the 12 students selected in the United States and 5 students from African Leadership Academy to participate in a year-long leadership development program, Bezos Family Foundation/BSP, executed by Jackie and Mike Bezos, parents of Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon. Moreover, I have four years of providing academic and social support in the classroom, in group setting, and one on one lessons for middle and elementary students of 4-12 years old's. In some of these environments, I tutored not only in Elementary Math, and in Algebra but also Geometry, Reading, Biology and Geography... Additionally to my teaching strategies, I enjoy updating parents about their children' performances. Furthermore, I am a Future Health Professionals (HOSA) member and a participate of the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine. I like implementing fun ideas when tutoring for it is the best way to stay engaged with materials.
