"Hello!
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and how I might assist you or your child.
To begin, I am a passionate educator and advocate who knows that every learner can achieve their goals when provided the right support. Because of this passion, I sought out a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and I am now in my Master of Education (M.Ed.) for Special Education.
As a “twice exceptional” person, gifted with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and Autism, I know the challenges that learners can face in their academic journey. However, like my grandparents always said, “Where there is a will there is a way!” and I hold that motto near and dear for myself and those I support.
In addition to my education, I have had a wonderful and rewarding career that began in graphic design over time grew to include web design, development, and consulting. While a consultant for web and software design and development I also worked as a corporate trainer and volunteer taught web design. I have owned my own web consulting business for over 12 years, and enjoy graphic and web design, web development, working through usability, assisting with content writing, and overall customer interaction. I have also enjoyed opportunities to train/teach my clients as needed.
Currently, I am in my 12th year as a tutor with Wyzant as well as a private instructor in the Tampa Bay area, working with elementary, middle, and high school students in English, literature, writing, sciences, social sciences, history, and math. Additionally, I tutor college students in a variety of subjects such as anatomy and biology, social sciences such as anthropology, and technology and I also support corporate employees in database utilization, marketing, Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Visio and Access), and Google Suite.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about how I might help you or your student! I look forward to working with you/your child to enhance the joy and love for learning!" less...
