"Hi! My name is Brandon. I graduated from the UC Berkeley with a degree in Cognitive Science, emphasis in Human-Computer Interaction. My background leverages a blend of computer science, data science, neuroscience, and human psychology in order to build usable and human-friendly websites. I currently work as a software engineer at a unicorn startup.

Learning computer science and web development has been and still continues to be difficult for me at times, but during my time in school I am thankful to have encountered professors and teaching assistants who were patient enough to walk me through my questions step by step. Because of my experience with these kind individuals, I too will always try to be as patient and thorough as possible with my tutoring. I love the joy and satisfaction I see in students when they are able to see the results of their efforts translated in a successful program or a beautiful design.

I have extensive experience working with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Redux, Express, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and more. I also have knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
