"I have a very diverse background and exposure to several subjects. I have a B.S. in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University and have spent the majority of my career in operational leadership positions. My undergraduate degree and employment experience give me a robust knowledge of economics, financial accounting, operational management, and human resources management. I have spent years in various training such as a Certified Executive Trainer with the Target corporation, training and mentoring all new leaders across multiple facilities. My training roles consisted of leadership development as well as operational excellence as I also hold a Lean Six Sigma certificate from Purdue University.

I also hold a Masters of Arts from Sam Houston State University in History with a focus in early American and revolutionary history, women's history, civil rights history, world history, and contemporary American history. I have a passion for the study of history and find it extremely rewarding to teach others about the subject.

Pursuit of my M.A. in History consisted of writing a number of essays and reviews of historical texts. This makes me well versed in academic writing, book review writing, reading comprehension, and proper grammatical use.
