"Hello! My name is Adam. I am an Adjunct Instructor at Southern Oregon University and a private math tutor. I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's in Pure Math from University of Texas. While pursuing my masters, I worked on math research in Topological Quantum Computation, took many high level graduate math courses, and served as a TA for 10 different courses ranging from College Algebra to Discrete Math.

I tutor high school and college students in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, AP Calculus AB and BC, College level Calculus I, II and III, Linear Algebra, Discrete Math, Differential Equations, and Abstract Algebra. While tutoring, I review foundational concepts and formulas with students and then guide them through practice problems to improve their understanding and performance in their course.

I am a patient and relatable tutor, but I also have extensive knowledge of both basic and high level math concepts. I use my background to help provide additional examples and deeper understanding to my students as we review their material. My patient approach also helps students feel comfortable to ask questions to reinforce their understanding of the material.
