"Teaching mathematics is my passion. Inspiring students’ interest in mathematics is something I take great pride in. Coming into tutoring many of my students are afraid of math and believe that they cannot succeed in it. By building my student’s confidence and developing their understanding of the concepts, I have been able to change their perspectives about math as well as boosts their grades. This in turn prepares my students for success in future math classes.

Spending time working as a teacher and a tutor in middle and high schools has sharpened my teaching ability. It taught me that every student I have is unique and learns differently. Which is why I tailor my lessons to my students’ unique needs. To do this I actively encourage feedback, participation, and communication from students and their family members.

A little bit about my myself, I have been tutoring math for several years and previously worked as an Algebra teacher. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematic and I graduated in the top ten percent of my class with a 3.9 GPA. I currently work as a math content writer in addition to tutoring.
