"My name is Jackson, and I graduated cum laude in May of 2024 with my Biochemistry degree. I am also premed and took my MCAT March 8 of 2025, after 5 months of intense studying. My results on the official exam are being released on April 8, but during practice I averaged a 518 (Practice exam scores of 516, 517, 518, 519, 521, and 522 on the AAMC official tests), and I also averaged 76% correct on UWORLD which translates to the 90%. Similarly, I moved to Ecuador for 6 months post graduation, with the goal of becoming fluent in Spanish, which I did achieve. Through these experiences I've had to learn how to learn quickly and efficiently, which in and of itself is a teachable skill. When tutoring, I aim to teach not only about the subject at hand, but about the science of learning as well.

Throughout my own studies, one crucial method I incorporated was actually teaching. It may be daunting to try to teach a classmate or family member a topic you just learned, but it has a huge payoff which can be seen in my success as well as numerous others. I like to incorporate methods such as this into my tutoring, as well as many others. I believe you can reach your goal score on your exams, it just requires working hard alongside working smart.
