"I have been tutoring for over five years, and I very much enjoy helping students of all ages to accomplish their goals. I have two years of experience tutoring in English writing, reading comprehension, and grammar for a rising program in City College called City Tutors. As a part of this program, I created weekly lesson plans for groups of returning education students ages 18 to 60. I also tutored several of those students one-on-one in preparation for their GED equivalent (TASC) exam.

For over three years, I have also privately worked with students ranging in level from elementary school to college. I help students prepare for exams, for writing/reading assignments, and to advance their general writing communication and reading comprehension skills, along with helping to advance math skills for students taking elementary- through early secondary-level mathematics.

I am a certified National Tutoring Association (NTA) tutor, with an honors magna cum laude bachelor's degree in English writing as well as over four years of experience proofreading and copy editing. As a tutor, I create my own lesson plans based on requirements for exams or coursework, and I tailor them to each individual person, as each individual has unique learning methods and learning preferences.
