"Hello there. My name is Oziel but everyone calls me Ozzy for short. I am a math tutor with 4 years of experience. My areas of expertise include Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Algebra. One of my best qualities is that I go over math examples step by step in ways that the student can understand. I know how frustrating it is when the teacher/professor goes fast during lecture and the student is completely lost in the material. I relate at a deep level. Therefore, I give step by step explanations to challenging math problems. A lot of students do not get this opportunity during lecture.

Another amazing quality of mine is that I encourage students to keep trying. I always say that practice is key. Think of those who are calculus professors and engineers. I always tell students of mine that it did not take them one day to get to where they are now. I always tell my students that they must be patient and eventually, they will understand the topic. I know how difficult math can be. I empathize strongly with students who find math very difficult because I was once in their shoes. I am a listener when it comes to students expressing their frustration. It is another one of my best features.

Students have thanked me for explaining Algebra, Trig, or Precalculus at a detailed, step by step way. I have helped them pass with A's and B’s in their math classes. I am always ready and willing to go the extra mile to help out a student even if it means explaining it at a lower level.
