"I have taught and tutored students from elementary to high school math. I aim to know my students, set practical goals, engage the students during instruction, have students practice in problem solving, and gauge student learning with informal assessments. Most students can achieve the goal they set if they truly put their minds to it. I worked as a database application support specialist for years and before that a computer applications programmer. My enthusiasm for math came from my teachers in secondary schools and college despite the fact that I studied computer science as my major in college. I achieved my goals for college, a career in a popular field, and later of becoming a credentialed teacher/tutor in math.
