"I'm a graduate from Stony Brook University with a Masters in Math Education and Bachelors in Math. I love thinking of new ways to explain concepts and innovative ways to show it visually or with physical models. My goal is to really help a student understand the material, and understand what could potentially be holding him/her back from truly knowing and applying it. While I am open to all students, the best ones I've worked with and had the greatest potential to grow are those that truly desire to improve themselves.

I use a individualized approach because I know that one size or method does not fit all. I can adapt to different learning styles and find that there are a few things that work well to start off with. I start with a verbal assessment of the student's abilities generally and then I get specific.
