"Hi, I'm Ralph and I love to help people learn! My favorite subjects to tutor are Statistics, English, and Biology. I also enjoy Economics, Spanish, and Mathematics. I have many years of experience tutoring people in these and other subjects. I am an avid reader, so I am often reinforcing my knowledge in various topics. I work professionally as a scientist, and I have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Entomology. I enjoy learning about insects so much that I have three times won a national competition and an international competition in knowledge of insect biology. Insects are 80% of all animals, and are closely associated with many plants, so they are a critical component of most ecosystems. To properly appreciate this, entomologists must study all the subdisciplines of biology, including botany, ecology, evolution, and genetics.

I have a tremendous amount of patience, and I love helping others find joy in learning new things.
