I am a Smith College graduate (neuroscience major) and previously received Massachusetts teaching certification for high school chemistry. I received my PhD in biomedical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

I have more than 5 years of college chemistry tutoring experience, including lab work, and I also have experience tutoring high school chemistry in addition to physics. I have spent the last 3.5 years teaching a variety of neuroscience courses at Smith College. I also offer critiques of personal statements.

I specialize in interactive, visual learning, whether that means running up and down stairs to explain a physics problem or building molecular models to understand chemistry problems. I adapt my teaching styles to the individual needs of the student.
