"I am a MIT graduate, and have been a math tutor/teacher for the last 16 years. I have taught or tutored all levels through Calculus BC & College Calculus -High school, middle school and college. My experience includes being a faculty math teacher at the NOTRE DAME ACADEMY (High School), a home-school tutor in math/honor Chemistry through the LAUREL SPRINGS program, an instructor for the JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY/SYLVAN AIIY program for gifted children, a teacher at MULHOLLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL, an instructor for PRINCETON REVIEW & COMPASS EDUCATION, as well as being a in-home math tutor for numerous students from HIGH SCHOOL: Harvard-Westlake, Marlborough, Windward, Campbell Hall, Beverly Hills High, and COLLEGE: USC, Purdue University, Columbia University, Cal State Long Beach, Santa Monica College.

I am very good at focusing on the particular needs of each individual student.

I am patient, relaxed and truly enjoy this work. In addition to my engineering degree, I also come from 2 previous generations of world class science/math academics from both sides of my family (My dad was a MIT professor).

Also having been a professional actor during this entire time, being an educator in math/science has turned out to be a most rewarding and satisfying parallel career, especially given my background. I also believe that my acting background has helped me immensely in relating to kids both challenged and gifted in math.
