"Hello there! My name is Daniel, and I'm an engineer + applied mathematician. I earned my Sc.B. at Brown University and am in the graduate school at Yale University, where I study machine learning.

My tutoring experience spans more than 7 years, during which I've helped students of various ages and stages—from middle schoolers to mid-career professionals and more—to achieve their goals. Whether you're trying to improve in classwork or prepping for a specific standardized test, you've come to the right place. I want to see everyone in my studio succeed. This means that I don't let my students cut corners, but I'm very patient—and try to make things fun—throughout the learning process! My teaching style isn't encapsulated by a particular "school", "method", or buzzword, but the results speak for themselves: I've taken students' test scores from the "C" range to an "A" by the end of the school year, and some of my AP test-takers have improved from "3" territory to a solid "5" on the May exam.

While at Brown University, I served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant (UTA) for multiple courses in the Department of French and Francophone Studies. I was invited, by reputation, to be UTA for courses in the Department of Physics as well as the School of Engineering.

I scored 99th percentile on the SAT (including a Writing perfect score) as well as 800 on the Math and Physics Subject Tests. I scored 5 in AP Calculus BC, Physics Mechanics+E&M, and US History. I was fortunate to receive a Gold Award in "Le Grand Concours" National French Exam.
