"I'm Edgar! I I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (3.7 GPA) and I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Master's degree in Mathematics (4.0 GPA). I have 4+ years of experience tutoring K-12 students and college students with a variety of math subjects. I currently assist students with Calculus AB/BC, College Calculus 1/2, Precalculus, Algebra 1/2, Integrated Math 1-3, and Linear Algebra.

My teaching experience consists of being a high school tutor, being an elementary school/middle school math intern for Cal Teach, being a Learning Assistant for Calculus 1/2, and Linear Algebra/Differential Equations courses at UCLA, and being a current online private math tutor. As a high school tutor, I assisted students one-on-one after school with understanding and completing assigned math coursework, where I mainly helped students in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus. As a Learning Assistant at UCLA, I assisted students by attending weekly discussion sections and completing group-work, held office hours with the professors/TAs, and held review sessions for upcoming exams. As a math intern for Cal Teach, I learned pedagogical strategies for teaching elementary/middle school math as I assisted students in local elementary/middle schools in the Los Angeles area. As an online private mathematics tutor, I assist students online through Zoom as I help them complete their math homework and prepare them for upcoming math tests/quizzes.
