"I was a math tutor at Southside ISD for the AVID program and was the only high level math tutor. I have tutored for three years. Part of my method is to also include the student to where it is not just me giving a lecture. Mathematics is a very practical subject and I feel it is best taught in a "left seat, right seat" method. I will demonstrate how a particular problem is solved or derived, then I will come up with a very similar problem and let the student go through it. If they struggle, then the understanding is not there and I will review my method to check for understanding. Although most of my tutoring is online, I will do my best to accommodate the needs of any student and I offer a very affordable rate. I am not here for the money; I have a day job and I am also a full time student. I am here for the students who struggle and too often I have seen students struggle with the most basic of concepts which has urged me to hopefully become a Math Teacher as well.

I was also the only accounting tutor at Palo Alto College. I am striving to achieve my bachelor's then my masters in accounting. I would also like to get at least a bachelors in mathematics.

I also facilitated State Testing/College Readiness while I was a tutor at the district level-I have dealt with STAAR and TSI.

Precalculus

Calculus-Although I do not know much about the subject, a good chunk was self taught.

All of these subjects were at the AP (Advanced Placement) Level
