"I have been a high school math teacher for 20 years, teaching everything from Algebra 1 all the way to AP Calculus. I have worked with every type of student - from those that have struggled with math their entire lives to those for whom math is easy and need to be constantly challenged. I love coming up with different ways to explain concepts to my students...breaking down difficult topics into bite sized pieces that they can relate to and understand. I completed my undergraduate degree at Duke University (majoring in Computer Science) and I received my Masters at Teachers College at Columbia University (majoring in Secondary Mathematics Education).
