I believe your child can succeed in math! I am excited when a child grasps a concept and accomplishes goals that may have seemed impossible just moments before. Working through problems step by step will teach understanding and thus provide the confidence your child deserves in mathematics.

Math has been my favorite subject to learn and to teach. Since 1999 homeschooling has been my passion, and I have been blessed to home-educate all five of my children from kindergarten through high school. Teaching at home has allowed me to focus one-on-one with each child and tailor my approach to his or her personality and learning ability to reach each one’s desired math proficiency.

Through patience and encouragement, I am pleased to see my efforts rewarded with my first three high school graduates. My eldest, Bryson, has far exceeded my math knowledge by earning a degree in mechanical engineering and is now a full-time tutor with Wyzant. I am honored to witness my former student having learned the ability to teach the next generation.
