My love for teaching sparked in Baltimore, tutoring math and reading for inner-city kids—a rewarding challenge that honed my knack for pinpointing weaknesses and adapting lessons creatively. Since 2008, I’ve racked up over 10,000 hours of tutoring, including online sessions with Varsity Tutors and in-person work with about 100 local students from my area. I hold a Biology degree from the University of Maryland and spent years in research, first at Johns Hopkins in Molecular Biology and Genetics, then at Duke Medical Center in Molecular Mycology, even co-authoring papers in top scientific journals.
