"Self-taught in 1998, I worked on editorial websites for 6 years before the company implemented CMS solutions. Those editorial sites were complex networks that needed regular maintenance, upgrading, and relational dynamic pages created and linked. I have been teaching folks off and on for several years. You will find me quite flexible to your required style of teaching, and agile at discovering answers to questions I may not yet know about the current, always updating, HTML and CSS codes, methods and practices.
For me, the sharing of what I know and learning from others as I teach them, is the absolute best part of teaching. I am a mostly visual learner myself and I am a skosh better at teach other visual learners, but I have had practice working a large range of people through various learning styles. I can teach children, but I cannot teach anyone not willing to learn.
I have had a hand on computers since for over 20 years. I have been able to walk people of many learning levels through basics by patiently breaking steps down as small as needed until my student is able to grasp or at least mimic every needed step to get where they want. Some students have taken my teaching and written out directions for themselves quite well.
