I'm in the final year of my MD/MBA studies at Penn after completing my undergraduate degree at Williams College and have been playing and teaching drum set for nearly 20 years.

I scored in the 94th to 100th percentile on the ACT, SAT, MCAT, GRE, and USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 standardized exams. I have 4 years of experience tutoring students ages 12 to 22 in basic biology, genetics, neuroscience, microeconomics, health policy, and Spanish language. I have done individual and group tutoring sessions and strive to figure out my tutees' learning styles and tailor my approach accordingly.

Drumming-wise, I have studied with Sal Ranniello at the Hartt School of Music and Conor Meehan at Williams College and continue to actively play, primarily in the jazz, latin, and pop/rock/funk styles. I have taught students ages 8 to 35, from beginner to intermediate level. I believe in stressing fundamental techniques and theory, while also making it fun with applications to the drum set early and often.
