"Hi! My name is Lucas and I've been an educator for over 15 years. I was an online certified master's level tutor for The Princeton Review for 9 years, teaching all sections of the SAT, ACT, and GRE. I've received perfect scores on the SAT and ACT. I've created a test prep method that effectively "breaks" the SAT/ACT, allowing students to see major score improvements in a short period of time.

I also worked at an elite private tutoring center teaching all math levels from Algebra I to AP Calculus. I'm also a college admissions expert, helping students optimize their college applications and write compelling essays. I've seen thousands of my students get accepted into their dream schools.

I also have an MFA in Film Production (Directing) from Florida State College of Motion Picture Arts. I've been working and teaching in the film industry for over ten years. Some projects include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, the Netflix film Things Heard & Seen, and Dark Waters (Focus Features). I'm an experienced visual storyteller and I give detailed notes on scripts and film edits. My films have screened at film festivals globally and won numerous awards.

I have an outgoing personality and I encourage a friendly relationship with my students. I also incorporate life coaching and mind management into my sessions. This has had a profound impact on my students' lives both academically and personally.

It's important to remember that teenagers are not robots. We live in a world where we put insane pressures on these kids at such a young age. It's my job to help alleviate these stressors by understanding each student's unique needs and catering to those teaching preferences. An open dialogue with students AND parents is crucial.
