"My name is Elena and I am a native Spanish speaker from Argentina. Regarding my experience in tutoring, I have tutored ESL, Spanish and French for beginners at CSN for three years. Currently, I am working as an instructional assistant at an elementary school level for students with special needs.

I finished a B.A in Spanish with a minor in French. Also, I took translation courses in Argentina and UNLV. In addition, I have an A.A in Hotel Management. In addition, I am a certified translator and I am taking a course to become a medical interpreter.

In my spare time, I love exercising with my DVD’s at home. Exercising gives me energy and makes me feel great. Moreover, I enjoy reading mystery books, listening to jazz, classical and soft music. My passion is to travel and to visit interesting places. Among other activities, I like learning.

In my opinion, the key for success is to have patience, persistence and confidence. Therefore, I always encourage students and give them compliments.
