"My name is Brian. I have spent the last 6 years working professionally as a certified teacher. I not only have experience working as a first grade teacher, but also as a preschool teacher. I enjoy helping children make new discoveries, learn new concepts, and reach goals. I have the ability to teach 1:1, small groups or pods, or I can split my time between a few students.

With being a classroom teacher, I had the opportunity to reach students with all different learning levels. I use a hands on approach in teaching new concepts.

I have had the great opportunity to use small group time in the classroom to reach student's specific needs. My view as an educator, is every child needs to read in order to be successful in every other subject. I have different materials and reading resources that I have successfully used in helping students learn letters, sounds, blends, cvc words, etc. If students are able to read, I have a sight word program I use to increase their vocabulary as well as a large selection of books and materials to assist in their learning.

I have a lot of experience from working in the classroom, which could benefit any child who is looking for an at-home learning experience.
