"Hi, I'm Deborah! I am an occupational therapist specializing in providing custom wheelchairs for people with disabilities, and one of the most important parts of my job is written communication. Every day I write detailed letters to insurance companies, persuading them to pay for expensive equipment for my patients. I believe that writing is a crucial skill, no matter your life stage or career path and would love to help you excel in this area.

During college, I worked as a tutor in my university's writing center. I received extensive training in facilitating clear and effective writing of all forms, but particularly enjoyed helping students work on their personal statements for graduate school applications. Since graduating, I have worked with friends and family on their personal statements and cover letters for advanced education and job applications and am particularly effective at helping others translate the ideas in their heads into well written work.
