"I offer personal online needlepoint instruction tailored to fit your needs and desire to learn various techniques or discover new stitches to make a canvas uniquely yours. In all my classes, I strive to use approaches that fit varying learning styles and all levels of needlepoint proficiency from absolute beginner to advanced stitcher.

I have taught needlepoint and have written stitch guides at a local shop for over 5 years, am well versed in a multitude of techniques for canvas enhancement and have a through knowledge of fiber choices. Over the years I have belonged to local and national chapters of the American Needlepoint Guild and the Embroiderer’s Guild of America as well as the National Embroidery Teachers Association, have attended many needlepoint seminars and retreats and have completed numerous online projects and classes to expand my needlepoint knowledge.

For all tutoring sessions, I will contact you prior to our meeting to find out what your class objectives are and get any canvas pictures and/or thread lists from you so that I may prepare before our class in order to best utilize our time together. Live stitching demonstrations, step by step instruction for needle placement, stitch graphs including those superimposed on your canvas may be utilized during our class and I always try to give plenty of practice time as well.
