"Hi, I'm Preshecca! I graduated from The University of Akron with an Honors BS Biomedical Science degree and Minor in Sociology in December 2024 and got accepted into medical school. I also got my high school diploma in 2022 and simultaneously got my Associate's Degree in Biology through dual credit from The Ohio State University in 2022. Through my degrees at both OSU and UA, I got experience succeeding in rigorous coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, and the Social Sciences.

I took the MCAT in June 2024 and got my dream score to get into med school with just 4 weeks of dedicated studying. I would be happy to help anyone prep for the MCAT.

Beyond my coursework, I also have 5 years of tutoring and teaching experience. I started my tutoring and teaching journey while I was in high school as a Mathematics tutor at Mathnasium and an SAT/ACT prep tutor with Lumist. Furthermore, I also gained teaching experience in high school as a Teaching Assistant for a Physical Science and Chemistry class in my high school, and my district's Biomedical Research Academy (AP Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Advanced Research in Science, and Biomedical Art). This passion for tutoring and teaching continued in college as I worked as a Learning Assistant (Lecture TA) for Organic Chemistry I and II, Physics for Life Sciences I and II, and Principles of Chemistry I.

Now that I'm on a gap year as I graduated early and can only start med school in July 2025, I have also been tutoring students in SAT, ACT, and MCAT prep.
