"My name is Peter K. I have been freelancing in New York and recently remote for 18 years as a 3D animator. I have worked with studios from New York to California on various commercials and films. I also have worked on a few games.

I have been teaching undergrad and graduate students since 2013 at NYIT and at Montclair State U since 2022 in Maya 3D generalist and character animation courses. I have taught a wide range of students from all walks of life.

I pride myself on a patient and clear workflow. My students all get taught working with their skill level as a basis and not overwhelming them if they are starting out without prior experience. I have taught up to 20 students at a time working on group projects and using many visual ads and online references. I can also teach 1 on 1 to give special attention and focus.

Programs I am versed in include: Maya, After Effects, Zbrush, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere.
