"As a Ph.D. biologist and current Assistant Professor at one of the largest medical schools in NJ, I bring a wealth of expertise to tutoring in biology, chemistry, and general STEM subjects. My educational background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a B.S. in Biology from Florida Atlantic University, where I graduated summa cum laude. This strong academic foundation equips me to tutor students at various levels, from high school to graduate school.

My teaching experience spans over a decade and includes diverse settings. I currently teach graduate-level courses in microbiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology to medical students. Previously, as a Lead STEM Teacher at Urban Prep Academy, I taught AP Biology, Algebra II, Physics, and Chemistry to high school students. My approach to tutoring emphasizes problem-based learning and hands-on experiences, helping students grasp complex concepts through practical applications.

Throughout my career, I've mentored students of various ages in both one-on-one and group settings. As a graduate student at Princeton, I trained and supervised undergraduate students in molecular biology techniques, and as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Chicago, I mentored both undergraduate and graduate students. I've also volunteered in community STEM outreach programs, developing workshops for middle and high school students. This extensive experience has honed my ability to adapt my teaching style to suit individual learning needs. Whether it's preparing for exams, designing research projects, or navigating college applications, I'm committed to helping students achieve their academic goals and foster a genuine love for science." less...
