"Hello!
My name is Art and I have degrees in Chemical Engineering (B.S., M.S., Ph.D.) from 2 top-tier (most selective) global research engineering universities. For the past 30 years, I have been successfully tutoring middle school, high school and college students in all levels of math, chemistry and physics. At the university level, I have prepared course materials, lectures as well as tutored calculus I to III, differential equations and various chemical engineering courses. My main goal is to try and find a way to make studying these subjects fun so that students understand the basic principles. Using this approach should improve their confidence to solve similar and more complicated problems in the future. Whenever possible, I try to use real life examples. To me, one of the greatest accomplishments is to see the look in a student's eyes when the material starts to click.
I have worked with students who have been accepted into some of the top universities including Carnegie-Mellon, Emory, Georgia Institute of Technology, Harvard, Michigan, New York, Northwestern, Tufts, Case-Western and Ohio State.
I am an inventor on multiple patents and publications which required strong chemistry, physics, math, and engineering skills. I try to be flexible with time. While I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, I offer make-up sessions. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success in all of your math, chemistry, and physics studies." less...
