"Hello! My name is Anne. With 16 years of high school teaching experience and a strong background in scientific research, I offer a wealth of knowledge and support to help you excel in your studies. My Virginia teaching license is valid until June 2033, and I am endorsed in both Chemistry and Biology. I have taught Chemistry, Dual Enrollment Chemistry 101-102, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and AP Biology at Madison County High School and Charlottesville High School. Currently, I am an Adjunct Faculty member at Piedmont Virginia Community College, where I teach Chemistry Lab 111 and tutor Chemistry and Biology. My professional background also includes expertise in research on polymeric materials and their interactions with biological systems. I earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Sorbonne Paris North University and, before becoming a teacher, conducted research in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Virginia.

My goal is to help you not only understand scientific concepts but also build strong organizational and study skills, transforming you into an independent learner. I have worked with hundreds of students from 9th to 12th grade and understand the challenges they face, whether it is grasping difficult concepts or managing study habits. As a native speaker, I can also assist with French language studies.
