"Greetings! I am an individual with many academic interests and a significant amount of academic experience. I hold a Ph.D. in counseling psychology, a master's degree in mental health counseling, and a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology. I had have extensive tutoring experience working with all elementary subjects, writing at all levels including college, Spanish, statistics (e.g. basic statistics, ANOVA, regression), and ESL.

I have taught all levels from children to older adults. I currently teach human development at the university level. My research interests largely focus on the impact of culture on our well-being and/or health difficulties. I have extensive copy editing experience and have professionally copy edited research manuscripts and dissertations. I have assisted with statistical analyses for several research manuscripts and some dissertations as well. I especially enjoy copy editing/proof reading all kinds of writing. I am passionate about education but more importantly, I am committed to assisting others develop a sense of agency and self confidence as they expand their educational horizons. I love learn and hope to foster that sentiment in others as well!

I worked as a full-time ESL instructor in South Korea. I taught individuals of all ages including young children and older adults. I also worked as an ESL instructor in an international business academy. I have helped clients prepare for TOEFL and prepare for job interviews in English. I have extensive copy editing/proof reading experience, which has helped me develop an eagle eye for grammatical mistakes and the nuances of language. I have worked with all levels from young children to graduate student dissertations.

I have tutored basic through intermediate Spanish and Portuguese.
