"I have BS Physics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and PhD Computer Science from the University of Utah.

I take myself as extremely good at test taking, otherwise I probably wouldn't be able to get into USTC, at age of 15, with the total score in China's national college admission exam ranked 1st in the county, and 22nd in Zhejiang province, and from a remote island lacking educational resource.

I love learning, teaching and tutoring. I actually started tutoring math in the first year of college, with my professor's daughter as my first student. After graduation, I had worked as a University Physics lecturer for about 10 years, before I decided getting back to school, pursuing PhD in computer science.

After graduation, I started my industrial career in the US east cost as a software engineer, and have been since coding passionately and almost daily.
