"I am a clinical pharmacist with extensive knowledge and expertise in Pharmacology and Microbiology. I have tutored students in the biological sciences and math.

The greatest aspect of tutoring is watching a student see "the lightbulb come on" and truly understand the material. I graduated cum laude in 2011 from Samford University with a doctorate in pharmacy and in 2007 from the University of Montevallo cum laude with a bachelors of science in biology.

In pharmacy school, I took two semesters of Pharmacology and utilize the knowledge and skills learned from this course on a daily basis with my career. In addition, I thoroughly enjoy Microbiology, especially how it applies to pharmacy and healthcare. As a pharmacist, I also am very knowledgeable in basic math and Algebra and understand the mathematical concepts in these subjects.

For my teaching philosophy, I believe that student truly learns by understanding the concepts and the "why" behind the subject. I am very patient & encouraging and will not give up one anyone.

I obtained my undergraduate degree in Biology and completed courses such as: General Biology I & II, Genetics, Ecology, Molecular Cell Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Anatomy, and Physiology.

In pharmacy school I took a full academic year of Pharmacology and did very well in this subject. As a pharmacist, I use the knowledge, skills, and concepts from Pharmacology on a regular basis to deliver excellent patient care.
