"Hi, I'm Noni! I am pursuing my doctorate in pharmacy (Pharm. D.) at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy - Rutgers University. I have always had a passion for helping other students achieve their goals, and I believe that with the right guidance, even the most daunting health and science courses can be manageable.
After tutoring math and science for 7+ years, I have developed a general approach to help my students gain the most from our sessions. First, I take the time to listen to my students so that I can understand what specific topics are causing the most confusion and frustration. Then, we tackle those together, piece by piece. I then develop study plans to help with long-term learning of the material throughout the course. By breaking down a topic and dedicating a few minutes each day to effective studying, you will find the material you previously thought impossible to be doable if not easy. These skills will serve you throughout your educational and professional career. As a PharmD student, I continue to develop study plans for my own courses and break down complex concepts using the same methods I teach.
