"I hold a PhD in Biochemistry from UT Southwestern Medical Center, where I conducted extensive research in lipid metabolism. I also earned a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University. This academic background has provided me with deep knowledge in biology, biochemistry, and data science, allowing me to cover a wide range of topics for students.

In addition to my research, I have experience teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students throughout my academic career. I have guided students in laboratory settings, helping them develop a strong understanding of complex concepts like molecular cloning, protein purification, and bioinformatics. My teaching philosophy focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable pieces and tailoring my approach to meet each student's individual needs and learning style.
