"Hi! I’m Charbel, and I’m currently working as a research scientist in environment engineering. I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and hold a PhD in Civil Engineering. Over the past six years, I’ve had the pleasure of tutoring college students in subjects including calculus, algebra, differential equations, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
My passion for science and research was sparked by two incredible professors during my college years, who inspired me to pursue a career in research. In my senior year, I began teaching freshman and sophomore students as a part-time job, and I found great fulfillment in helping them grow and achieve their goals. I’m still in touch with many of my former students, even after several years. During graduate school, I also served as a teaching assistant for fluid mechanics and calculus courses, where I helped students with assignments and exam prep.
I’m passionate about teaching and making complex concepts accessible, and I’m eager to help anyone looking for support in math, science, or engineering courses. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident and empowered to reach their full potential. Whether you’re struggling with a tough topic or just want to deepen your understanding, I’m here to help. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson!" less...
