I earned my PhD in Molecular and Cell biology from UC Berkely in 2022 and a B.S degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Computer Science from Gettysburg College in 2015. My research for the last 10 years has focused on genetics and cell biology. I love the field and mentoring students in it!

I have tutoring experience from my undergraduate and I have 5 semesters of experience as a TA, two for introductory biology, one for Genetics and two for Introduction to Genetics, Genomics and Cell Biology. All of these involved one on one or small group instruction sections outside of discussion sections. My primary strength as a tutor is drawing the connections between the different concepts in biology, providing a foundation for retention of the information.
