Hello Students,

If you need help with mathematics, physics, or engineering, I’d be glad to help out. With dedication, every student succeeds, so don’t despair!

Learning new disciplines keeps me very aware of the struggles all students face. Beyond academics, I spend my time in the wilderness, backpacking, kayaking, and bicycling. With an extensive mobile shop, I also craft items via metalworking, woodworking, and bushcrafting.

Each of the big three disciplines (math/physics/engineering) carry with them specific approaches that are both their strengths and their weaknesses! For any given course, shifting approaches can suddenly make everything clear.

WAY BEYOND SIMPLE TUTORING:

With tens of thousands of hours of tutoring experience, my goal is to save my students many hours of labor, for each hour they see me. Standard textbook/classroom approaches are often abysmal. They place details, and formal proofs, ahead of explanations. By reformulating topics in math, physics, and engineering , my students get right to the heart of the matter. It’s a change that’s long overdue.
