"I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky, graduating magna cum laude with a major in Psychology focused in neuroscience and a minor in philosophy. I then moved to Australia, where I lived for nearly 10 years. Whilst there I completed my honours degree, and my PhD, both in Psychology focused in neuroscience.

As a scientist, and having lived abroad, I have had many opportunities to engage with a multitude of people from all over the world. I thoroughly enjoy learning about different cultures, and also realize the need to be able to communicate effectively in English in order to be successful in modern society. I strive to provide individualized student-focused teaching to ensure the greatest chance of success for whatever it is you hope to achieve.

As a native speaker and an academic, I have an excellent grasp of the English language and significant experience correcting and perfecting communication for public presentation and professional publication at an excelled level. Furthermore, I am committed to providing lessons that focus on the student's needs. Finally, as a scientist, I can offer field-specific language tutoring.
