"I am a biologist performing medical research for more than a decade. During this time, I have taught various facets of biology and laboratory science to high school students, college freshmen, and medical students. I also actively tutor students in anatomy/physiology, biochemistry, genetics, and statistics. I am passionate about science communication, and I gain immense satisfaction from helping my students understand difficult scientific concepts.
As a practicing scientist, I regularly utilize statistics to construct hypotheses and reach rigorous conclusions. I have also taken graduate level courses in statistics. I have tutored students on concepts including probability distributions (normal, binomial etc.), hypothesis testing, and regression analyses. I teach these concepts using either R or MS Excel, depending upon the course requirements of the student.
Further, being a trained neuroscientist, I am an expert at different aspects of biology and chemistry. I have taught biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, genetics, and molecular biology to a diverse population, from middle/high schoolers to advanced students of medicine and nursing.
I aim to make science learning enjoyable and accessible to people from all walks of life. I will do my best to help you reach your learning goals, whether it be achieving a better score or gain a better understanding of the world around you.
