"I am currently a PhD student at The Ohio State University (OSU). I earned my MA in Sociology in 2024 from OSU and my BA in Sociology and Feminist Studies from Southwestern University in 2019. I deeply value the learning process and strive to create an inclusive, supportive, and enriching learning environment.

As a tutor, I leverage the skills and insights I have developed through my experiences as a high school tutor, middle school teacher, writing consultant, and federal grant manager/project manager. In high school, I created a tutoring program at my local library where I primarily helped elementary students with reading. In college, I worked for three years as a writing consultant in the university's writing center and had the opportunity to work with students from a range of academic disciplines. One summer in college, I was a Teaching Fellow through Breakthrough Central Texas, where I taught Algebra II to rising 9th grade students.

I also have several years of experience working with college-age and non-traditional students outside of conventional classroom settings. Prior to graduate school, I worked in social services and federal grant management for a few years. During that time, I supervised undergraduate- and graduate- level student interns for their BSW and MSW practicums to develop learning opportunities and ensure that students were meeting their programmatic learning objectives.
