"Hi, I’m Hailey! I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.A. in psychology (Tar Heel Scholar Athlete; 3.87 GPA), from Harvard with a M.A. in psychology (Dean's List Academic Achievement Award; 3.97 GPA), and will start at John Jay College of Criminal Justice for their Clinical Psychology PhD program for Fall 2024. I specialize in teaching psychology, academic writing, and SAT/GRE writing test prep (I scored in the 98th percentile on the GRE Analytical Writing portion).

I have tutored for 5 years and gained a wide range of experiences including teaching math, reading, history, physical education, music, and art to children in class room settings for elementary and middle schools (typically in groups of 5-8 students). I then transitioned to one on one tutoring sessions with high school students for college test prep and with college students on undergraduate and graduate level psychology concepts and academic writing.

My diverse experience with different age groups and learning styles has helped me become adaptive in how I approach every student's needs. I work with the utmost patience and understanding to create a positive learning environment that allows my students to grow their knowledge.
