"I studied music performance at Louisiana State University, and I went on to earn a Bachelor's degree at Ashford University in Social Sciences and Education. I was a piano teacher and accompanist at Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg. In addition to teaching piano; I currently provide music therapy sessions at many senior communities in the area.

I have been a piano teacher for over 25 years. It's so wonderful to see my students' enjoyment with playing the piano, and their sense of accomplishment while learning to play.

In addition to being a long time piano teacher, I have been a performer for over 30 years. This experience allows me to help my students with what it takes to become confident piano players. Also, my experience has shown that each student has unique needs when it comes to a positive and effective learning enviorment.

I focus on having my students know that learning to play the piano and being musical is a natural process. I help my students to gradually become more and more independent learners.
