"Recently, I moved to Georgia to pursue a Master's degree in Jazz Studies at GSU and am now running my own private piano studio. Before graduate school, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance at Anderson University under the tutelage of Dr. Howard Kim. I have played piano for 18 years and have played everywhere, from with a symphonic orchestra to at the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta.

With my classical degree, I play at weddings and accompany student recitals. Last year, I played a program of modern French impressionist music for a trumpet player's graduate recital. With my jazz experience, I play in jazz combos, a big band, and a party band that travels along the East Coast. Every week, I participate in local jazz jam sessions in the Atlanta area.

My students learn fundamental music skills while learning their repertoire. We work on ear-training, music theory, and ensemble playing regardless of the student's penchant. Each lesson is catered to the student's interests. I have each student articulate their goals for piano lessons, and then I assign specifically leveled music to address the most glaring roadblock to their destination.
