"I’m Abby! I graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the University of Miami in 2024 and am an incoming medical student at the Miller School of Medicine Class of 2029. For me, the love of tutoring lies in the magic of helping students have a ‘eureka’ moment - that moment when a crazy, scary concept gets blown up into little fundamentals that build upon each other into a story that just makes sense. I have been tutoring organic chemistry since 2019 after earning A+'s in my organic chemistry courses in undergrad. Organic chemistry did not come naturally to me, and I had to spend 100s of hours to make sense of things that seemed to come so naturally to everyone else! After going through this struggle, I knew I wanted to become an organic chemistry tutor to help other people have the confidence to excel in this class. For the past five years, I’ve tutored over 150+ students in 1:1, small group, and large group settings and I specialize in delivering content lectures and in exam preparation.

When you and I are engaged in a remote session together, I will send you a blank worksheet ahead of time with a skeleton of the content and practice problems I intend to cover so you can fill this out digitally or on paper as we go through the session together. After the session, I will send you my annotated version so you can cross-reference it and have it as a resource! I love helping you work through problems from class/anywhere else so feel free to bring problems to sessions and we can work through them real-time.
